CASE STUDY: ARIELLE SHOSHANA // MICHELLE VISAGE

DIGITAL ADS

  • Arielle Shoshana approached us to help launch WEDNESDAY, a new fragrance created in collaboration with Michelle Visage. The brief called for a series of digital ads with a spooky, slightly surreal, Tim Burton–inspired aesthetic. The goal was to introduce the scent with visuals that felt eerie but playful, standing apart from the polish-heavy CGI common in the fragrance space.

  • We built a miniature world rooted in practical effects, designing a 95% physical set that included a hand-crafted papier-mâché tree and falling calendar pages. To achieve precise, cinematic movement through the miniature environment, we used the Mocolab robot arm, allowing for smooth, repeatable camera choreography while preserving the handcrafted feel.

  • The campaign launched with a full suite of vertical, horizontal, and still deliverables, now running as paid digital ads in support of the WEDNESDAY fragrance release. The work introduced the product with a distinct visual identity, helping the launch stand out in crowded digital environments while reinforcing Arielle Shoshana’s creative sensibility and point of view.
